The Marine Society & Sea Cadets

Our role is to provide personal development opportunities and support in a maritime context for young people and professional seafarers from all the sea services.

Donations

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets needs your support so that we can continue to offer services to Sea Cadets and Seafarers including the central support; management and training structure required for the Sea Cadet Corps; educational grants for Seafarers; and our book services.

In addition to the funds managed centrally, each local Sea Cadet Unit is responsible for raising the money to cover the running costs of its own facilities (heating, lighting, electricity, insurance etc). This comes to about £10,000 to £12,000 per Unit per year, i.e. almost £1,000 every month.
