What's this about?
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of double entry book-keeping and builds on them to introduce the model of computerised book-keeping using Sage Instant Accounts.
What you will get from it
It's an ideal course if you want to learn new skills to help you in your work, or to keep the books for your own business, organisation, or SCC unit.
Is is for me?
No prior knowledge of book-keeping is required, but you will need to be computer literate. You will also need access to a computer running Sage Instant Accounts Version 10 on Windows 98 or above.
Examination issues
Five tutor-marked assignments.
Qualification?
The course prepares you for the following qualifications:
ICB Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Book-keeping
Pitman Computerised Accounts Level 1
IAB Level 3 Diploma in Computerised Book-keeping.

This is a text based distance learning programme: attendance is not required and you may enrol at any time. Support is available to students through all the usual channels of communication. Access to Sage Instant Accounts Version 10 is essential.
