How it Works
As soon as we receive your enrolment form we pass your details to our partner provider, the National Extension College.
Within just two weeks of enrolling you will receive specially written, high-quality course materials from the NEC.
Details of your specially selected personal tutor will also arrive with these materials.
As well as being a qualified teacher, h/she will understand the conditions of service life and be familiar with the pressures upon you.
You then work through the study materials under the supervision of your tutor, returning regular assignments.
Your tutor marks your work with constructive comments and contributes helpful feedback.
All tutors have email facilities and offer telephone support as well as the traditional mail service.
When you feel you are ready to sit the examination The Marine Society College of the Sea can make all the necessary arrangements - you will be invited to pay the appropriate examination entry fee.
