Chief Instructor, based Weymouth DT4 8TZ


Fixed Term Contract, initially for two years.

We are currently seeking a Chief Instructor for our Sea Cadet Training Centre in Weymouth to supervise and manage the work of the afloat and boat maintenance staff, and to instruct cadets and adults as required by the Commanding Officer of the centre.

The successful candidate will also have day to day responsibility for the health and safety of all users and staff of the centre whilst afloat or in the workshop.

This is position is full time and fixed term, initially for two years. Hours of work each week will be variable and include weekend working, but will average approximately 44 hours.

You will be experienced at delivering fun and safe learning to young people in the outdoors and you will hold RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor and RYA Powerboat Instructor qualifications as a minimum.
