You will also play a key part in making Marine Engineering training more accessible to cadets and helping them understand how the skills they develop are aligned to RN and Maritime Careers.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in STEM and education and the passion to inspire young people, particularly those who are currently under represented in the maritime sector. You will also have some teaching or training experience, and the ability to implement new and innovative training projects as part of the organisation’s strategic objectives in what is a challenging and exciting role.
The role will involve lots of travel in a charity vehicle with a trailer, so a full driving licence with category B+E are also required. This role is home based and the pod will be stored in Newcastle when not in use. There will be significant travel across the North East of England.
