Regional Finance Manager
Location: Bristol or Portsmouth
Salary: c.£35,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full time
Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders? Do you want to make a difference to young people’s lives? If you’re an organised, efficient, and proactive business finance professional, this could be the role for you.
We are looking for an experienced Regional Finance Manager who can take ownership of coordinating the charity’s financial activities in their region (our South West, Southern and Northern Areas including Scotland; offices are in Bristol, Portsmouth and Edinburgh respectively). This role would involve working with the regional teams and our other Regional Finance Manager to ensure consistent application of financial procedures across our UK regions, support our colleagues in HQ financial management and providing assistance with financial queries.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in finance, sound IT proficiency, the experience to build and maintain strong relationships, strong decision making skills and is prepared to undertake travel within the UK (roughly 30% of the role).
Additional experience and qualities needed for this role is -
- Experience of providing financial support/advice to colleagues with a non-finance background
- A proven ability to work with and motivate teams
- An excellent communicator able to support our colleagues working in different offices around the country
- The ability to plan, coordinate and interpret financial data from the regional offices
- A can do attitude and willingness to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
- A professional, calm approach who can role model our values
