We are looking for an experienced corporate and events manager to help us build strategic partnerships with our existing supporters and attract new ones to our cause through a range of innovative events and activities. From gala dinners and sailing races, national parades and ship launches, the charity wants to grow its portfolio of fundraising events and support its ongoing commitment to working with its strategic partners on a wide range of events and activities.
You will be committed and dynamic with at least two years’ experience of working in events and managing corporate partnerships. You will have a solid knowledge and understanding of project planning, time management, attention to detail and event coordination and your great communications and networking skills enable you to connect with a range of people helping them to engage with the charity. You will be working across the organisation with lots of people and other organisations to help deliver a seamless and professional result. Experience and knowledge of working with volunteers and in a uniformed and/or youth organisation would be advantageous but not essential. The role demands an organised and flexible approach.
